A community leader with real-life experience, dedicated to listening, advocating, and delivering for every Milwaukie resident
Hello, Neighbors!
I'm Jennifer Murphy, and my commitment to you is simple: I'll keep showing up for the hard conversations, listening deeply, and acting in the best interest of our city.
Supported by trusted community leaders and grounded in years of community involvement, I'm asking for your vote—and I promise to spend every day working to earn your trust.
Together, we're building a Milwaukie where small businesses thrive, families can build stability, every resident has a voice, and everyone feels valued and connected.
Together, we create a Milwaukie where every resident has access to safety, affordability, and stability.
Together we will build a Milwaukie where everyone has the opportunity to:
Walk and bike safely through neighborhoods
Access community resources and stable housing
Share in community gathering spaces and know our neighbors
"There are many reasons to love Milwaukie fiercely. Jennifer does so by bringing people closer together and making them feel seen; something incredibly important in this chapter of public governance."
-Milwaukie City Councilor Rebecca Stavenjord
"Jennifer is the most courageous person I know. I respect her integrity, drive, and passion, and she constantly inspires me. I trust her completely with my own children, and I am confident she is the exact right person to advocate for every resident. Milwaukie is so lucky to have Jennifer!"
-Milwaukie Advocate Jenna Bader
Who stands with Jennifer?
A campaign funded by neighbors helping neighbors.
We each contribute in the ways we are able to help our neighbors thrive. No matter the size or manner of your contribution, we thank you for being here just as you are.
Our website and logo have been built by a dedicated team of volunteers to make best use of every dollar that our neighbors contribute. We couldn’t bring ourselves to pay thousands for what we could learn to create on our own.
Most campaigns for this seat raise about $6,000. With three candidates running for the same seat, our goal is more ambitious. We are trying to raise $9,500 to reach 4,500 voters through locally-purchased mailers, signs, business cards, buttons, and digital outreach to win the vote this November. Thank you for being here and showing up in the ways you do!
Thank you for being a part of the team!
Paying attention to every dollar, our team depends on volunteers to knock doors, host house parties, make calls, host a yard sign, and reach voters before November. Thank you!
